Vaicute in university's lingonberry project

A new research project "For success with berries - new product ideas and bioactivities from lingonberries" has started at the Kajaani unit of the University of Oulu. We are part of the project's steering group, so we get the latest information on the possibilities of utilizing lingonberries. The project will study, among other things, the antimicrobial properties of lingonberries and the potential for commercialization of a fraction separated from lingonberries that acts as a potential thickening agent in cosmetics.
