Our company Marion Finland Oy, which manufactures Vaicute products, has received the Elävä Kainuu Leader's Business Action of the Year 2024 award. It was a pleasure to visit sunny and beautiful Hyrynsalmi yesterday to receive the recognition. Grateful and motivated, we continue towards new Vaicute adventures. The Living Kainuu Leader's arguments: The 2024 business initiative was the launch of Marion Finland Oy (Marion) in Sotkamo. The project emphasizes cooperation, combining research and entrepreneurship, and utilizing digital and technology and local raw materials. The company is forward-looking, growth-oriented, and innovative, also taking responsibility into account. The trio of entrepreneurs has positively highlighted the Leader funding intended for starting part-time business activities. The part-time entrepreneurs at Marion Finland Oy are Marianne Mäki, Mari Jaakkola, and Kirsi Kuvaja.

A new research project "For success with berries - new product ideas and bioactivities from lingonberries" has started at the Kajaani unit of the University of Oulu. We are part of the project's steering group, so we get the latest information on the possibilities of utilizing lingonberries. The project will study, among other things, the antimicrobial properties of lingonberries and the potential for commercialization of a fraction separated from lingonberries that acts as a potential thickening agent in cosmetics. Vaicute women were presenting and selling natural cosmetics at the Kuopio Wellness Fair on September 28-29, 2024. Thank you to those who visited our stand for the nice chats and purchases!

We were in Rovaniemi at Marttapäivät to present & sell Vaicute products. Wonderful chatter, enthusiasm, thoughts, touching life stories, humor, heart-pounding laughter and wild women. On the way home, we wondered how women over 65 can be so beautiful and lively. And it's not about not having gray hair and wrinkles, but how they carry their entire being with self-possession, and approach life and themselves with appropriate lightness. A certain tickling freedom and ease of soul shines through. The example of the living Marttas made us dream about what kind of cheerful throwers and enjoyers of life we ​​would like to be at that age. Long life and good health to everyone, may the twinkle in your eye and the wildness in your heart remain!

We met with members of parliament and brought the opportunities and challenges of the natural products industry to the attention of decision-makers. Thanks to Arctic Aromas, University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute and Finnish Nature Entrepreneurship Network, Natural Resources Institute Finland, Finnish Forestry Centre - Finlands skogscentral and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for organizing the event. We got to present our products to wonderful women studying to become Nature Yoga teachers in Lahti. There was plenty of discussion about femininity and Vaicutte, as well as lots of happy laughter in an atmospheric environment.

The Kainuu Medical Association has awarded Raisa Mäkäräinen for developing the Vaicute vaginal cream. The physical form of the recognition is a statue of Venus.
